Located in the isthmus that
connects Murtosa to the beaches of S. Jacinto, this Hotel Pousada of Portugal

The balconies at the Pousada
overlook a quiet blue lagoon and provide a haven of peace in which to enjoy
a glass of local wine while watching the fishermen bring in the daily catch.
You might also see the traditional
“Moliceiros” boats which have high prows and are brightly painted with
religious motives and are typical of the area.
The original use of these
boats was to carry sea weed which was spread on the riverside fields as
fertilizer.
An interesting day out from
the Pousada is to continue by car to the village of S. Jacinto at the end
of the isthmus and then take the small ferry to Aveiro.

houses and boats moor along the river that runs through the town.
This Pousada has 20 bedrooms, including 2 deluxe, 10 superior rooms with river view, 8 standard bedrooms and 1 superior apartment (2 bedrooms).

sailing winds of the world and, in the days of sailing ships, this coast
was one of the busiest in the world with ships going from Northern Europe
to North America, the Mediterranean or the Far East.

you are having lunch and cease during the evening meal.
