Pousada das Amoras forms part of the estate of the Baptista Diniz family and is adjacent to the Palace which was built in 1905.
The Pousada takes its name "Das Amoras", which translates to "of the blackberries" since it is on the area of the estate that was covered in bushes of this plant.
The region offers excellent opportunities for sightseeing trip and sporting activities. There are also pre-historic remains of a Roman settlements in the archeological sites in the area.
The accommodation at this modern Pousada has 32 standard bedrooms of which 28 are twin bedded rooms, 4 double bedrooms and 1 superior room. One bedroom is suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
